- The Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) at UPEI Cairo has been granted accreditation from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).
- The Egyptian Supreme Council has also deemed UPEI’s program to be equivalent to engineering degrees in Egypt. Graduates from the UPEI Cairo Campus will be eligible to be qualified to practice engineering in both Canada and Egypt.
